Here are some highlights of what we did to make Valentine’s day special this year.
It is so fun to have this giant chalkboard, I just love changing it with the seasons!!
Here is some more chalkboard art that I did, some decorations, and all of my beautiful flowers.
They were given to me by my friend Erica, my mom, and my hubby.”
Then my children made Valentine cards for me and Daddy, brothers, sister, and Grandparents.
They made their cards, and practiced cutting out hearts.
My littles had so much fun with that, because they are just learning to use the scissors.

Everyone enjoys them very much. They have been part of our personal library for 10yrs. now.
For our Valentine’s dinner we decided to have a family dinner at home.
On the menu was Breakfast!! We all just love breakfast!!
We had the works, bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs, and biscuits. Yummy!!
This was special because we don’t eat bacon and sausage as often as we use to. Since we started to have a more plant based meals. Plus who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner?? 🙂
As I started to get dinner going I asked my crew to come and help me.
My “Little Caballero” and “El Sheriff” helped peel potatoes. My “Little Caballero” also helped set the table! I love it when we all work together. There’s just something about it!!
Then my “Little Sheriff” helped cut the strawberries for our dessert.
My “Little Pajarito” helped put the biscuits on the baking pans.
At first they weren’t happy helping but then they got the hang of it and realized how important their contribution is. :))
“More hands, means less work”.
And of course everyone’s tummy was very happy!!
Especially, after dessert!!
Because we had strawberries with Nutella! It was a big hit!! We all loved it very much!!
It was a really nice Valentine’s day.
My hens also loved their salad today!! And I don’t blame them, it looked so good!!
Hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s day!!
I would love to hear all about it!! Please comment below!!
Talk to you soon!!
In His Love,
